Who We Are
Our
Purpose
We join with our fellow United Methodists in declaring that our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
The vision of Old Bethel is to offer hope for every hunger in every heart.

Our
Story
Old Bethel has a long history of impacting the far east side of Indianapolis. The congregation started in a log cabin in 1838 and its present sanctuary is just one half block from that original location. We continue a strong reputation as a helping congregation, operating the city's second largest food pantry and a strong partnership with Pleasant Run Elementary.
We invite you to renew your spirit through passionate worship on Sunday mornings. Our messages help you understand the Bible so you can apply it to your daily life. A strong music ministry inspires in traditional ways at 9:30 and with a more contemporary and interactive approach at 11:00 am.
